A New CAR!

Really it is an SUV, but I wanted it to sound like the Price is Right: A NEW CAR! Anyways, it is a 2007 Denali. A complete gift from God disguised as a widow in Arlington, Texas.
Here's the story:
One of Lynn's clients is a widow and gets a new car every 2 years. (Lynn is John's racquetball partner and owns his own landscaping company.) She wanted to sell her Denali and get an Infiniti and asked Lynn if he knew anyone who wanted to buy it. Lynn told John about it, but we thought it was a long shot. We did not want to pay more than $25K for a vehicle. I really liked my Ford Expedition, so I was not even thinking of a new car. Well, over the weekend she found herself a new Infiniti SUV. She said she could still sell it to us if we were interested, but if not she could trade it in. The Infiniti salesman said he would give her $27K for it. After she called Lynn and told him all this, John said that he was sticking firm to the $25K limit. She said OK, no big deal, have him come look at it. So yesterday, (Sunday) John meets Lynn and goes over to her house, takes it on a test drive and comes home to tell me about it. He tells me that not only does it have back-up sensors, but it also has a back-up camera! Not only does it have heated seats all throughout the vehicle, but it also has a heated steering wheel! Not only can you open the trunk by pushing a button, but you can also start the car remotely! Fancy options that I did not even know existed! The color is champagne and the interior is all-leather. Wow. I mean WOW! A Fancy, dancy car! I might have to implement a NO drink, no food, no candy rule in my car!
To top it off, she completely filled it up with gas before she brought it to John. She had it professionally cleaned (though it did not need it, she kept it immaculate!). And the most thoughtful part? She left a note in the glove compartment that said, "John, Please take this $ and buy the kids a new DVD to watch in the car." And she left a $20 bill on top of the note. Is that incredible or what? I am filled with awe that such nice people still exist in this tumultuous world we live in. Complete awe.
After all the paperwork was all said and done, our car payment went up less than $30. Wow. God is good. In big and small ways and all ways, God is good.
