One of my friends here in the neighborhood, Sonia, had a surprise blessing at age 43. After 3 IVF babies, she thought she was done and got rid of all her baby stuff. 3 years later she thought she was going through menopause, and turned out she was pregnant. She had this baby girl in April of last year. As soon as she found out I was pregnant, she asked me if I want Alyssa's baby stuff. Oh yes!
I will take hand-me-downs anytime! Most of the time, they are hardly worn and a different style or colors than I would usually buy. I love trying new styles or colors, especially when it does not cost me anything. It was so sweet of her to give me her Exersaucer, Jump-a-roo, swing, pack-n-play, pink bathtub and a plethora of clothes. I hope that I can bless someone else with all this great stuff once Claire grows out of it!
