It was inevitable. Most of Arlington lost power, so we knew it was a possibility for us as well. The good part? We did not lose it for more than 24 hours, whereas our less fortunate neighboring subdivisions were without for 3-4 days! We made the most out of our outage. We headed to Chik*Fil*A for a few hours for lunch and playtime. We were all prepared to go to mother's house to spend the night, since they were out of town for a cruise. But after I took the kids to the gym, John called with the good news that our power was back on. SWEET!
